Birth of a Ghost

I am given a bells bracelet to ward off evil spirits and told not to go to the crossroads lest evil spirits haunt there.

At the crossroads is the intersection, which is right next to the house, a small intersection, unpaved road, just below the forest. It is believed in the village that the evil spirits from the road gather there. A suicide is not acceptable and haunts the soul, because a farewell ceremony cannot be organized. Such a deviation from life being stigmatized, affects all family members for at least 7 years.

I was basically told we have ghosts.

Let's say we have ghosts... my sweet aunt was a woman in pants, strong but not terrifying.

If she's somewhere out there haunting, she´s a beginner, so I'd better go and greet her, I say to myself and withdraw subtly, crying.

At the crossroads, under the forest, the shade was thick but without ghostly hikers.

The wind was shushing.

I look to the right, to the left, no zombies, witches, demons, nothing. Hello! I say for any eventuality, like in childhood, when I was told about her brother who also committed suicide under suspicious circumstances, that he is haunting us and that you can't see him.

To see, I have never seen anyone. If I think long enough I can dream, I can imagine, but memory exercises are something other than paranormal effects.
