My last walk around the city drove me parallel to the zoo wall, Passeig de Circumvallacio, from where you have a double view. On one hand: trains passing and the opulent Estación Franca whose beautiful iron curved canopy is 29 meters high and 195 meters long were quite neglected for years. On the other hand, a shared wall of graffiti interventions that are superb art and concepts quite often.

This time I have found a cyberpunk portrait made by Scorns. Cyberpunk art is an interesting type of fantasy art, orientated towards inclusion, and can present women characters as computer connaisseurs, cyborgs, and strong warriors combined with scientists. The accent is on autonomy, survival, knowledge, and technology more than force.
As a result of armed conflicts and dystopian realities, cyberpunk characters are usually robots or surviving hybrids. Often the looks and the reconstruction are neither feminine nor masculine and they are Fe people, iron people. Machines with transforming abilities and are very intelligent.
Lots of characters and plots are made for the adolescent target, especially to boost self-esteem in intelligent bullied young individuals, many of them being girls who are not allowed to study or live in a world that does not sustain equality and, therefore is not protective.
Cyberpunk art examples go into that area of self-esteem support and the graphics or story can be as dark or in vibrant colors as possible, it´s according to the artist´s disposition and perspective.
As cyberpunk reaches different age categories those for adults also imply women's beauty and body shapes as electric and powerful.
All in one is a type of science fiction that debates the ecological damage, along with the diversity and equality issues.
From the underground to the surface, make women in science visible!
