Destroyed Hands, Cultural Mediation, and the Intervention Plan

Strategic Note

In 2023, after two years of collaborating with institutions responsible for social inclusion and observing the difficulties encountered from the inside, I ventured to develop and propose collaborative projects dedicated to immigrant families. Although my proposals were sent in Castellano and Catalan to ensure the reader was comfortable, I never received a response.

Social inclusion has been a concern of mine for decades. For this reason, I have long read, documented, synthesized, and applied psycho-pedagogical, art therapy, and literature therapy methods. My projects focus on intercultural groups and are aimed at all age groups.

In direct intervention, I ensure individual development strategies that complement education while reducing stress and yield excellent results in addressing the effects of trauma on language development and expression.

I have implemented inclusion support projects with artist groups, children, women, immigrants, people in vulnerable situations, and detained persons. I would also like to propose projects for third-age groups with motor skills support, mental health activities, and, more specifically, culinary arts activities. I am also a cook with international experience and some recipes in my pocket are specially dedicated to heavy chronic illnesses diets.

Since I live in Catalonia, the internal system is opaque and makes no effort to include immigrant specialists. I am therefore looking for a position as a cultural mediator, preferably intercultural in a human rights-orientated organization.

Even if I mainly use play therapy I am a serious person.
