Vegetation on sand looks so powerful to me, adaptation skills to the max. This is a small dune ecosystem with Crithmum maritimum flowers.
The taste of anise is representative of the culinary culture of many regions. I'm a pastry with hinojo marino enthusiast, delicacies easy to find in Spain.
I only regret that in so many years, precisely those local and migrant cultures using these herbs, that share ancestral cooking habits, do not connect.
We live in parallel worlds, eating almost the same things, preparing recipes that are a demonstration of shared culture, yet we do not recognize each other.

El sabor del anis, fenoll mari es representativo de la cultura culinaria de muchas regiones. Soy una apasionada de la repostería y del hinojo, y es fácil encontrar exquisiteces en España.
Solo lamento que, tras tantos años, precisamente las culturas locales e inmigrantes que utilizan estas hierbas, y que comparten hábitos culinarios ancestrales, no hayan conectado.
Vivimos en mundos paralelos, comiendo casi lo mismo, preparando recetas que demuestran una cultura compartida, pero no nos reconocemos.
