From the Underground to the Surface, We want Peace!

By 2025, in my imagination, and probably in the imagination of many readers and writers who know the horrors of both world wars, the idea of conflict would have already been abolished.

So much written text over the years attached to ¨Never Again¨ and a social developmental consensus, so that nowadays to assist bad fashion and fanaticism linked to weapons production and genocide, which is absurd.

As the situation spirals into media manipulation and extremism, in a world with countless songs, essays, and teachings about peace, in every possible language, we continue at a violent pace, and genocide unfolds before our very eyes.

Journalists lose their lives while doing their job: observing and reporting the story, which makes them victims of war. More journalists have been targeted than ever before. Why did we get here?

People are dying in a terrifying chain of crimes, broadcast online. At this point, anyone can become a journalist with the goal of stopping the genocide manifestation.

The Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, adopted on 9 December 1948, remains in effect today, but the institutions applying the law are dormant, the Cinderella effect, let´s say.
