Not rude

Autumnal Light

There is a strange dynamic in our interactions: ranging from an inability to connect with sincere people—because, socially, we have become so accustomed to dissimulation—to the act of merely feigning an interaction.

Some of us prefer to reject such interactions, choosing instead to take a walk in nature, read a book, or do anything else rather than be in the company of someone who displays an exclusionary or discriminatory attitude.

This is not a matter of bad manners, but rather one of self-preservation. We are the ones who decide who enters our personal space, based on whether or not we feel comfortable.
