The Garden Desk

Garden Poetry

When you lack the stability of a home, an outdoor table serves not only as a place to eat but also as a desk. This remarkable, alternative universe of public space allows me to talk about books in gardens and parks, where natural light falls beautifully and birds communicate with each other melodically.

Not everyone has a desk for studying, drawing, or writing; therefore, the presence of chairs and tables in public spaces—along with access to restrooms—is an architectural resource that simply ensures inclusion.
